Who are We?

St. John HealthPartners (SJHP) is a Physician Hospital Organization representing over 2,200 physicians affiliated with the following St John Providence Health System Hospitals:

• Providence Hospital
• Providence Park Hospital
• St. John Hospital & Medical Center
• St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital
• St John Hospital & Medical Center – North Shores Campus
• St. John River District

The St. John HealthPartners Board of Directors, comprised of Primary Care Physicians, Specialty Care Physicians and SJPHS executives, works closely with a comprehensive team of health care administrators to advocate for the SJH network of care. 

What do We Do?

St. John HealthPartners serves its provider community through consensus, collaboration and team building, to further the general interests of its members.   This is accomplished in part by:

1. Promotion of a unified, comprehensive Provider Network  ~ geared toward improving the overall patient care experience and outcomes
2. Contracting and negotiating services with health plans ~ offering physicians easy access to payers through our streamlined enrollment process
3. Demonstrating our rigorous utilization and quality programs ~ resulting in enhanced performance under our Managed Care contracts
4. Performing medical management oversight  ~ with the assistance of our core team of quality and utilization experts, our providers achieve compliance in quality standards resulting in a high rate of return of withholds and risk pools.  Financial data analysis and performance reporting help physicians achieve targeted outcomes
5. Offering value-added services to assist physicians in earning health plan incentive dollars
6. Assisting physicians with clinical IT tools integration and implementation through reduced pricing and ongoing support.
7. Providing educational opportunities concerning trends and issues that impact physician practices and patients
8. Information sharing and problem resolution
